Stephen Curry is telling his critics not to mess with his wife.
On Monday, the All-Star wore a T-shirt that read “Ayesha Curry Can Cook” for his wife.
Curry wore this adorable shirt during a postgame press conference as the Golden State Warriors conquered the Boston Celtics in Game 5 of the 2022 NBA Finals in San Francisco, California.
The NBA star’s striking fashion choice appears to be a mockery of a Boston bar that last week slammed the cookbook by displaying a sign outside its building reading “Ayesha Curry Cant Cook” author.
Game On, a bar near Fenway Park! Another taunting message was also sent to Curry’s family, displaying a sign that read: “Duece Tatum > Riley Curry,” a nod to Celtics player Jayson Tatum’s son.
This misspelled sign (his name is actually spelled Doss) says that Tatum’s son is greater than Curry’s daughter.
While Curry made his displeasure with this objection clear with his shirt choices, he didn’t add much to his fashion statement, letting the shirts speak for themselves.
When reporters asked him the meaning behind the shirt, Curry dodged the question and replied. “You have to ask the people in the room, ask Twitter.”
Ayesha and Stephen Curry have been married for over a decade. The mother of three launched her successful culinary business in 2014.
Stephen Curry currently holds three titles and multiple MVP awards with the Warriors. In Monday’s game against Boston, the point guard scored 16 points for the team.
